Task

You’re an up and coming Event Manager.  You and your team have been given the job to put together a Battle of the Bands Competition in the Inner Western/Melbourne area.  You don’t know the area or the available venues, so your have to do some research.  As you haven’t run a battle of the bands competition before, you are required to do some background research before you start the planning of the event.

Each member of the group will have a leadership job. One member is in charge of the Advertising, one for the Tickets, one for the Venues and one member is in charge of the Bands.  As a group you can decide who does which part.  But remember you are on a budget of $5000 and everything you do must be taken into account before you break that budget.  You must work together as a group to produce the most profitable event possible.

Each member is in charge of producing a report for their specified area.  Each report must include the reasons for each of your decisions as well as a list of pro's and con's.  You must also cover all the costs.
